NEGATIVE SCANNING

Save your fragile negatives from the ravages of age by taking advantage of our negative scanning service. Your color negatives -- even in protective sleeves -- are in danger of color shifting and scratching that can occur over time. We can scan your negatives to digital and keep these memories safe from physical decay.

​Once we receive your negatives, we will hand scan each negative before making adjustments for optimum color and density.All negatives are scanned using state-of-the-art dedicated negative/slide scanners, allowing us to preserve your family’s memories at the highest quality possible. We will crop, rotate and color correct the digital images. All scanned images are saved as high resolution 300 dpi jpg images (ideal for viewing, sharing, or making similar sized reprints).  Higher resolutions are available upon request.

Sass Video Transfer Services no longer transfers scanned images to DVDs as it has been shown that DVDs deteriorate over time and are no longer an acceptable form of backing up media. Sass Video will provide the transferred image scans in the jpg file format. Files will be delivered via online cloud service and/or copied to a customer provided hard/thumb drive. OPTIONAL: Sass Video can also provide all transferred files on a Sass Video provided USB thumb drive for an additional NIS 85.
