SUPER 8mm & 8mm FILM TRANSFER
Advancements in technology have made it possible to convert 8 mm and Super 8 film into HD video.
How do we do it?
An individual high resolution image is snapped of each and every single frame (yes, 20 individual images per second of film).
These images are then spliced together to provide breathtaking results.
This is new technology, so even if you have previously transferred your old film using archaic methods of transfer, now is the time to preserve your oldest memories in 1080 HD before it is too late.
99% of home Super 8mm and 8mm do not include audio. Due to issues with audio magnetic strips from old film, Sass Video does not transfer audio from the old films.
Sass Video does provide an option of adding a background music track from our extensive music library (music library link provided upon request) - OR you can choose your own music.
FILM TRANSFER PRICING
Sass Video Transfer Services no longer transfers film footage to DVDs as it has been shown that DVDs deteriorate over time and are no longer an acceptable form of backing up media. Sass Video will provide the transferred film footage files in the mp4 file format. Files will be delivered via online cloud service and/or copied to a customer provided hard/thumb drive. OPTIONAL: Sass Video can also provide all transferred files on a Sass Video provided USB thumb drive for an additional NIS 85.
